Ingredients
- 2 Cups Brown Sugar, packed
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1/8 tsp. Salt
- 4 (4") Cinnamon Sticks
- 5 Whole Cloves
- 1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
- 2 Quarts Hot Water
- 2 Cups Rum
- Garnish: Whipped Cream and Nutmeg

Step 1
Add brown sugar, butter, salt and spices to a slow cooker. Add hot water; stir well. Cover and cook on low for 5 hours. Add rum; stir. Serve in warm mugs garnished with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg.
