RICE & LENTILS

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water -- (2 to 2 1/4)
  • 3/4 cup brown rice
  • 1/4 cup lentils
  • 1/4 cup barley
  • 2 teaspoons instant vegetable soup mix
  • dab of butter
  • salt if desired

Preparation

Step 1

1. Measure all ingredients into a pot.

2. Bring to a boil.

3. Reduce heat to simmer.

4. Cover & cook 30-40 minutes.
