Ingredients
- 2 large onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/3 c olive oil
- 15 large tomatoes, peeled and cut into 1/8's
- 2 c red wine
- 12-oz tomato paste
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp rosemary, crushed
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 sweet red pepper, chopped
- 2 heaping tsp dried oregano

Preparation
Step 1
Saute onions, garlic and olive oil until golden (about 10 minutes) in a large kettle.
Add tomatoes to the kettle and stir.
Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
Simmer for an hour or so uncovered.
Freeze in small containers.
