Ingredients
- 1 pkg. Medium egg noodles
- 5 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 litre low fat buttermilk
- 2 cups or a little more corn flakes
- 1/2 cup margerine
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Cook noodles and drain.
Beat eggs with ½ cup sugar and pour into noodle mixture. Pour noodle mixture into greased 9x13 pan.
Add 1 litre buttermilk - just pour over noodles (no need to mix). Bake uncovered for 1/2 hr. at 350.
Smash cornflakes and mix with margarine and brown sugar. Spread on top of noodles. Return to 350 oven and bake for 20-30 minutes uncovered.
HINT: Let stand for 15 or 20 minutes before cutting. Cover with foil while it is standing.
