Ingredients
- My chocolate chip cookie recipe:
- Chocolate Frosting:
- 1/2 cup butter, softened $
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1/3 cup whipping cream
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 (16-oz.) package powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare dough for All-Time Favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies. Spread cookie dough into 3 (8-inch) round cake pans greased and lined with parchment paper. Bake at 350’ for 18-20 minutes or until lightly browned on top. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack. Run a knife blade around edge of pan to remove cookies. Cut each layer into 8 wedges.
Prepare Chocolate Frosting only from the Chocolate High Cupcakes recipe. Place frosting in a cake decorating piping bag fitted with a star tip. Stack wedges by piping frosting between layers. Decorate the top wedge with a piped dollop of frosting.
