Cup Coconut, finely shredded
Tbs. Butter or Margarine
tsp. Coconut Flavoring
Egg Yolks (save whites for meringue)
Heat milk. Mix sugar, cornstarch, coconut, salt, butter and egg yolks. Add to heated milk, stirring constantly. Pour into 1 unbaked pie crust and bake until nearly done. Put meringue on top and sprinkle with coconut, then put back into the oven until meringue is a nice golden brown.
