Ingredients
- Sauce:
- 4-5 Cups Shredded Apples
- Dough: 2 Cups Flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 2/3 Cup Shortening
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 2 Cups Brown Sugar
- 2 Cups Water
- 1/2 Cup Butter
- 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon

Preparation
Step 1
Roll dough in large piece 1/4" thick. Spread with melted butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 tsp. cinnamon. Put apples on top and roll as jellyroll. Cut in slices 1 1/4" thick. Put in 10 1/2 x 15 inch pan. Yield: 12-14 rolls.
Sauce: Heat sauce ingredients and pour over rolls and bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Serve hot with milk or ice cream.
