Pecan Pie -

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 6 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 cup light corn syrup (or Lyle's Golden Syrup)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell (deep dish)

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F degrees.

In a mixing bowl, combine eggs, butter, corn syrup, sugars, bourbon, flour and vanilla; beat well.

Stir in pecans and chocolate.

Pour mixture into a 9-inch pastry shell.

Bake in oven for 1 hour until pie is set.
