Ingredients
- 2 pkgs yeast
- 1/2 c warm water
- 1 tsp sugar
- 2 c rye
- 1/2 c sugar
- 3 tsp salt
- 3 c hot water
- 1/2 vegetable shortening, melted
- 1/2 c molasses
- 9 c white flour

Preparation
Step 1
Add yeast to paste and stir in white flour.
Bake at 325 degrees for 40 minutes. Yields three big loaves.
