Sausages w/Sauerkraut and Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs red potatoes, halved if large
  • 2 c sauerkraut drained
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 c low sodium chicken broth
  • 1/4 c dry white wine
  • 1 t caraway seeds
  • koshe and pepper
  • 1 1/2 pounds bratwurst
  • 1/4 c fresh flat parsley, chopped
  • pumpernickel bread

Preparation

Step 1

Place in crock pot , potatoes, sauerkraut, onion, broth, wine and spices. Nestle the bratwurst in veggies.

Cook on high 4-5 hours or low 7-8 hours.

Serve with parsley and serve with buttered bread and mustard.
