  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 1 3/4 Cups Sugar
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla
  • 1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 3 Cups Flour
  • 1 (21 oz.) Can Cherry Pie Filling (or any other fruit filling)



Step 1

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour and baking powder. Place 2/3 of batter in an 11 x 17 inch ungreased pan. Spread pie filling over batter. Spread remaining 1/3 of batter by teaspoonful over the top. Bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Drizzle favorite powdered sugar frosting over top when cooled.
