Ingredients
- 1/2 lb or 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
- 3 1/4 c water
- 1 8-oz can diced beets
- 1/3 c tomato paste
- 1/2 c borsch soup base

Step 1
Add cabbage to water and bring to a boil.
Add beets, paste, and base and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Yields 1 qt.
