Pork chops lowcountry

Ingredients

  • 4 center cut chops
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/4 cup flour to coat chops
  • 2 bell peppers cut into strips
  • 2 yellow onions cut into strips
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 dashes Worcestershire sauce

Preparation

Step 1

Season chops with salt, pepper and cayenne. Melt butter in skillet. Roll chops in flour and brown well about 3 minute per side. Plate
Add the peppers, onions to the skillet and sauté about 3 minutes. Stir in garlic. Push vegetables to the side and return chops to the skillet. Cover with the vegetables. Pour in broth and sprinkle with Worcestershire sauce. Cover pan with tin foil and simmer for 45 minutes.
