Ingredients
- Cookies:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. Vanilla
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 1/2 cups flower
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- Filling:
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 Tbsp. Brandy extract
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- Topping:
- 36 maraschino cherries, drained on paper towel
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 tsp oil
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 375. In large bowl combine sugar, 3/4 cup butter, vanilla and egg yolk. Beat until light and fluffy. Add flour and cocoa; beat until well mixed. Shape into balls, make indentation with index finger. Bake 7-9 minutes. Combine filling ingredients, beat until smooth. Spoon 1/2 tsp. Into each cookie. Press cherry into filling. Combine chocolate chips and oil. Cook over low heat until melted. Drizzle chocolate over cherry.
