Ingredients

  • cooking spray
  • 6 oz low fat cream cheese softened to room temp
  • 1/2 c plain low fat Greek yogurt
  • 3 T uncooked onion finely minced
  • 1/2 pd lump crabmeat fresh or canned, drained
  • 1/2 t hot pepper sauce or more to taste
  • 1/2 t salt or to taste
  • 2 T sherry dry or sweet or to taste

Preparation

Step 1

preheat oven to 325-coat 7 inch baking dish w cooking spray
in a med bowl combine all ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined
spoon mixture into prepared dish and bake until dip is heated through and center is no longer runny about 25 mins
cool slightly before serving
Yields abut 2 T plus 2 t per serving
recipe can be made up to 1 day in advance and stored in fridge
bring to room temp before serving
change flavor each time by adding fresh garlic, horseradish, extra hot sauce, chopped jalapeno, fresh herbs, mustard or capers
