Ingredients
- 2 to 3 lbs. Stew beef
- 2 to 3 lbs. hamburger
- 2 28 oz cans Del Monte diced tomatoes seasoned
- 2 28 oz cans red kidney beans
- chili powder to taste
- 2 TBS Italian seasoning
- salt pepper to taste
- 4 small green peppers diced
- I large onion diced
Preparation
Step 1
in a large sauce pan brown stew beef in olive oil, add some red pepper seed if you like it hot. Add peppers and onions. Brown ground beef in frying pan when browned drain and add to stew beef. Put in Italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Add the two cans of tomatoes. Simmer for about 10 min just to mix flavors. Add kidney beans and chili powder. I added about 5 tbs of chili powder. Heat and eat. Serve with grated cheese and sour cream.
