Ingredients

  • 2 cans Italia style DICED tomatoes In a water like juice
  • 4 8oz. tomato sauce
  • 2 tea salt
  • 2 tea onion salt
  • 1 tbls oregano
  • 1/4 black pepper
  • 1/3 salad oil
  • 2 cups minced onion
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 lbs. ground chuck
  • 2 lbs. Sausage meat out of casing
  • 2 tea salt
  • 1 lb. No bake lasagna noodles ( only one box per pan)
  • 1 1/2 lb. ricotta cheese
  • 1 lb. mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

In large pot combine tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, onion salt, oregano, pepper and simmer.

In a large skillet sauté onions and garlic. Once lightly browned add beef, and salt. Cook until meat loses red color. Add to sauce.
Simmer 2 hours.

In a large pan layer sauce, noodles, ricotta, meat, mozzarella and Parmesan. Repeat ending with sauce. Top with mozzarella. Bake uncovered for 50 min. Remove from oven let sit for 15 min.
