Ingredients
- 2 lbs small carrots
- 2 T water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 C butter
- 1/4 C brown sugar
- 1 tsp lemon rind
- 1 T lemon juice
- 1/2 small onion, sliced
Preparation
Step 1
Wash and scrape carrots. Mix remaining ingredients in saucepan except onion. Stir well. Add coarrots and onion and cook over low heat 15 minutes or until carrots are tender.
