Horseradish Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of thick cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 salt-spoon pepper
  • 3 tablespoons grated horseradish
  • 2 Tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Have 1 cup of thick cream, thoroughly chilled, and whip it with an egg-beater till very stiff. It should keep it's shape. Add 1/2 Teaspoon salt, 1/2 Salt-spoon pepper, 3 tablespoons grated horseradish. The radish should be fresh, if possible. Add 2 tablespoons vinegar and 1 teaspoon sugar, put i ice-box until ready to use, as it should be very thick when served. Good with veal chops.
