Chocolate Pudding Cake

Ingredients

• 1 c sifted flour
• 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 3/4 c sugar
• 1/2 c milk
• 2 Tbsp cocoa (or less)
• 2 Tbsp shortening, melted
• 1 c nuts, chopped
• 1 c brown sugar
• 4 Tbsp cocoa (I used 4 rounded tsp)
• 1 3/4 c boiling water

Preparation

Step 1

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and cocoa.

Stir in shortening and nuts.

Spread in pan.

Mix brown sugar and cocoa and spread over pan.

Pour boiling water over the top.
