Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork sausage
  • 1/2 pound bacon - fried & crumbled
  • 6 slices bread - crust off & 1/4 squares
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese - grated
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • White Worcestershire to taste
  • 2 cups milk
  • You can use more cheese, sausage & bacon to taste.

Preparation

Step 1

Cut crust off of bread. Then cut remaining bread into 4 squares. Line a 2 quart, buttered casserole dish with these bread pieces.

Cover bread pieces with grated cheese.

Fry sausage & bacon separately. Drain and combine. in buttered casserole dish.

Cover cheese with sausage & bacon mixture.

Beat eggs. Add salt, dry mustard, White Worcestershire & milk. Pour over casserole.

Cover & refrigerate over night.

The next morning, bake at 325 for 1 hour.
