Ingredients
- 4 cups chopped plum tomato
- 3 teaspoons capers, minced
- 4 tablespoons kalamata olives, chopped
- 2 tablespoons minced red onion
- 2 tablespoons chopped basil, or 2 tsps dried
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 baguette, sliced thin
- 2 cloves garlic
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine tomato-pepper. Cover and let stand 30 mins. Drain.
2. Toast baguette slices, rub with cut sides of garlic. Serve with tomato dip.
Notes: recipe as shown is my adaptation. Excellent. Would probably not look for another bruschetta recipe.
