Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 9 Tbsp. oil
- 9 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 4 1/2 c. warm water
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. yeast
- 4 1/2-6 c. flour
Preparation
Step 1
Beat the eggs, oil, sugar and salt together. Add the warm water. Add the first amount of flour--DON'T MIX.
Sprinkle yeast on top of flour. Mix and change to dough hook.
Add the remaining flour 1 cup at a time. The sides of the bowl should come clean.
Oil a bowl, turn dough over so it's greased.
Cover with tea towel and let dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
Punch down. Shape into buns, put on greased sheets and let rise for 45 min. or so.
Bake at 350F for 15-20 min. or until lightly browned.
Remove from pans to wire racks and cover with a tea towel.
Freezes well.
