Ham & Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 c. peeled, diced potatoes
  • 1/3 c. diced celery
  • 1/3 c. fine chopped onion
  • 3/4 c. diced ham
  • 3 1/4 c. water
  • Stir in 2 Tbsp. chicken bouillon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 5 Tbsp. margarine
  • 5 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 c. milk

Preparation

Step 1

Combine and boil the first 5 ingred. for 10-15 min. on med. until potatoes are cooked.
Stir in the bouillon and S&P.
In another pot, melt butter, whisk in flour until thick (4-5 min.) Stir into ham mixture. Heat thru. Sprinkle with cheese top before serving.
