Vanilla cheesecake


Simple vanilla cheese cake that can be adjusted with the inclusion of fruit, chocolate or any number of things.

Vanilla cheesecake 1 Picture


  • 1 1/2 cups of sweet biscuits crushed (approx. 2 packets)
  • 60 g butter, melted
  • 500 g Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup of castor sugar
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 2 tsp of vanilla essence


Preparation time 25mins


Step 1

Base method: combine crumbs and melted butter. Press evenly into a lined base of tin. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours - preferably overnight.

Topping method: Beat cream cheese on low and add cream and sugar until well combined. Add vanilla. Beat until thick and creamy. Spread over chilled base. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours - preferably overnight. Decorate with fruit or grated chocolate.
