Sugar Cookies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter
  • 1 cup salad oil
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 4 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Cream first 4 ingredients. Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Make one inch balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place on buttered cookie sheet or on parchment paper. Press down with glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
