Ingredients
- 8 oz. sliced mushrooms
- 2-3 lbs boneless chuck roast
- 1 envelope french onion soup mix
- 1/2 cup dry red wine

Step 1
Put mushrooms in bottom of slow cooker and put roast on top. Mix together the soup mix and wine and pour on top. Cook on low in slow cooker for 8 hours.
Can use guar or xanthan to thicken up juices for gravy.
