Ingredients
- 1 Cup Valencia Rice
- 3 Cups Water
- 2 Lemon Rinds
- 2 Cinnamon Sticks
- 8 Cups of Milk
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Teaspoons Vanilla
- Cinnamon Powder
Preparation
Step 1
Wash the rice and put it to boil with the water, lemon and cinnamon sticks until soft. Add the milk, salt and sugar. Let it cook on low until it thickens, stiring occationally so it does not stick, approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Empty it into a glass container and let it cool. Put it in the refrigerator until completely cold. Sprinkle it with the cinnamon powder
