Ingredients
- 2 t Vegetable oil
- 8 oz. boneless, skinless turkey breast, cut into strips
- 1 C sliced mushrooms
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 3 C water
- 1 t EACH minced garlic, grated ginger root, and sesame oil
- 1 T EACH soy sauce and rice wine vinegar
- 1/4 t hot pepper sauce
- 4 oz. fresh chow mein or rice noodles
- 1 1/2 C snow peas, trimmed and cut into 1" pieces
- 1/2 C chopped green onions
Preparation
Step 1
1. In large saucepan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add turkey and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add mushroom and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add broth, water, garlic and ginger, and bring to a boil. Add vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, hot pepper sauce, and noodles. Reduce heat and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
2. Add snow peas and green onions. Simmer for 1-2 minutes. Serve immediately.
