Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 1/1 /2 sticks Butter, Melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 1/2 cups Fresh Raspberries, blueberries, or other fruit
  • Extra Sugar For Sprinkling

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine dry ingredients, Combine milk, butter, and vanilla. Mix dry and wet ingredients.

Pour batter into greased 9x 9 pan. Spread fruit on top and push down a little bit into the batter.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until golden brown and crisp around the edges.

Invert onto a cooling rack and serve warm with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
