  • 1-14 oz. package caramels

  • C evaporated milk

  • 1

    box German Chocolate Cake mix

  • ¾

    C butter, softened

  • 1

    C pecans

  • 12-oz. package chocolate chips

  • 3.9 oz. box chocolate instant pudding


Combine caramels and 1/3 C of evaporated milk and melt on low heat. Do this first because it takes a while. Next combine cake mix, remaining milk, soft butter and pudding mix. Press ½ of mixture into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 7 minutes. Sprinkle nuts, chocolate chips and pour caramel sauce over. Crumble remaining cake mix on top and bake 15-18 minutes. Cool completely before serving
