Killer Appetizer Bread

Ingredients

• 1 cup mayonaise
• 1 cup parmesan cheese -- freshly grated
• 1 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic
• 1 round sourdough bread -- halved horizontally
• 2 tablespoons fresh chopped basil OR 2 tsp dried

Preparation

Step 1

Mix mayo, cheese and garlic. Butter bread. Place cut side up on cookie
sheet. Broil until crisp and brown. Spread cheese mixture over bread.
Broil again until puffed and golden. Sprinkle with basil. Cut into
wedges and serve.
