Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 cup good quality chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • whipped cream

Preparation

Step 1

Combine milk, heavy cream and sugar in a saucepan over high heat until just before boiling. DO NOT LET THE MIXTURE BOIL!. Remove from heat.

Immediately whisk in the chocolate chips and whisk until melted and combined. Add vanilla and whisk to combine.

Pour into cup and top with whipped cream if desired.
