Ingredients
- 1 small panettone (I had mascarpone and chocolate)
- 75 g whipping cream
- 300 g mascarpone
- 300 g crème fraîche
- 1.5 sachet vanilla sugar - 1 to 3 teaspoons
- 60 g sugar
- 200 g mandarins (without seeds)
- 2 dl Grand Marnier (this is 6.5 ounces, seems excessive)
- 1 (organic) orange, zested
- dark chocolate shavings of choice

Step 1
Mix cream, mascarpone, crème fraîche, vanilla sugar and sugar until smooth, with a whisk beat to a thickish cream.
OPTIONAL: Cut 2 to 3 thin slices from the panettone, around 8 mm thick, cut out four stars with a cookie cutter, toast until golden yellow and put them aside for decoration.
Cut or tear the panettone into small pieces. Peel the mandarins, cut the slices lengthwise in half. Filt the panettone pieces into the glasses, drizzle with a little Grand Marnier, place the mandarins on top and cover with a little bit of the cream. Repeat these steps until the glasses are full, ending with the cream,. Cover with saran and put them into the fridge.
Garnish with mandarin piece, chocolate shavings and orange zest and the stars, if using.
