Seared Chicken Breast

Ingredients

  • 1/2 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 c white wine
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 c half/half cream
  • 6 chicken breast
  • 1 c flour
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Preparation

Step 1

1. Coat the chicken breast in the flour mixtures lightly and then sear in a med-high heat pan with butter.
2. In another pan - on med- high heat, sauté the onion and garlic. Once translucent add the white wine. Cook this out for a few minutes.
3. Add the sour cream, half/half cream. Once this comes to a boil, take it off the stove.
4. In a baking dish, line up your seared and cooked chicken breast, pour the sauce over the chicken breast and place in the oven at 350 for 10 -20 minutes.
5. Serve with mashed potatoes, or steamed veggies.
