Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/3 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup oats
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons evaporated milk
Preparation
Step 1
Cream shortening, sugars. Blend in egg and peanut butter baking soda, salt, and vanilla . Stir in flour and oats.
Spread in long pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. remove from oven and sprinkle at once with one 6 oz. package semisweet chocolate pieces, cover for 5 minutes so it will melt.
Frosting:
Mix powdered sugar, peanut butter and evaporated milk. Spread chocolate and pour on icing.
