Creamy mushroom and chicken casserole

Ingredients

  • butter
  • sliced white mushrooms
  • flour
  • marsala wine
  • heavy cream
  • chopped parsley
  • salt and pep
  • long grain rice
  • rotisserie chicken
  • grated parm. cheese

Preparation

Step 1

I melt butter in a large skillet, add mushrooms and cook until softened. I stir in flour, marsala, and cream and cook until thickened. I stir in 2 cups of water and some parsley salt and pepper. I sprinkle uncooked rice in baking dish top with chopped chicken and the mushroom gravy then cover with foil and bake until bubbly about 35 mins and then sprinkle with parm. and bake for 5 mins
