Stroodle

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb. oleo
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3 egg yokes
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix oleo and flour like pie crust. Add yokes, water and vinegar. Mix well. Cover and put in refrigerator overnight or at least 6 hours. Cut into 3 parts and roll as thin as wax paper. Roll on a cloth. Sprinkle with apples, cherries, cottage cheese, etc. Roll. Bake at 375 for 45 minutes. Sprinkle with powder sugar.

Once rolled up can also put on top the same as dumplings.
