Chocolate mint truffles

  • 1 pound of dark chocolate
  • 1 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 tsp mint extract

Preparation

Step 1

Break up the chocolate into small pieces about 1/4 to 1/2 inch in size.
Put the cream on the stove to boil. As soon as it comes to a boil, quickly pour it over the chocolate. Let it sit for 60 seconds. Add the mint extract.

Slowly stir in the center of the bowl and eventually the melted chocolate and cream will come together. Scrape down all the sides.

Put plastic wrap on it and chill it for at least an hour.
Form into balls. Throw them into the cocoa and roll them around.
