Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1-1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350º. Line 8" square pan with foil and lightly butter.
In a large bowl, beat butter until fluffy (1 min.). Add sugar, egg, and vanilla. Beat until thick and light (1-2 min.).
With a spoon, quickly stir in dry ingredients. Stir in pecans. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with a few crumbs on it. Cool on wire rack.
