MOZZARELLA (MURRAY HILL)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. whole milk mozzarella
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs slightly beaten
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup seasoned Italian bread crumbs

Preparation

Step 1

Cut mozzarella into slices 1/2" thick. Roll in flour, dip in egg seasoned with salt and pepper, roll in breadcrumbs. Dip in egg again and roll in breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil until golden brown. Serve hot.
