Ingredients
- 1 large Onion
- 1 3/4 cup Progresso beef-flavored broth
- 1 boneless beef rump roast trimmed of fat
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 pkg 0.7 oz italian dressing mix
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground pepper
- 12 hoagie buns
- 12 sciles provolone cheese cut in half
Preparation
Step 1
1. Spray slow cooker with cooking spray. In slow cooker place onion; add broth. Brush all surfaces of roast with vinegar. Place on onions. Sprinkle with italian dressing mix, salt and pepper
2. Cover; cook on low heat setting 8 -10 hours
3.Remove beef from cooker; place on cutting board. Cuy beef across grain into thin slices.Return slices to cooker, mix well
4. Spoon beef onto bottom half of bun. Top with cheese and top of bun. Serve sandwich with juice from sloe cooker.
