- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 4-1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tarter
- 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Step 1
In a large bowl, beat sugar, powdered sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add oil, vanilla and eggs; blend well. Stir in flour, baking soda cream of tarter and salt; mix well. Cover with plastic wrap, refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight for easier handling.
Heat oven to 375 degrees F. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 5 to 8 minutes or until set but not brown. Immediately remove from cookie sheets. Cool completely
