Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup yellow corn meal
Preparation
Step 1
Melt ½ cup butter. Add and stir well ½ cup sugar. Add and beat well two eggs. Combine and add 1 cup buttermilk, ½ tsp. baking soda. Add and stir until just blended: 1 cup flour, 1 cup yellow corn meal.
Bake in 8” round pan at 375° for 25 minutes.
