Turkey Sausage Pizza

Ingredients

• 1 lb loaf frozen bread dough, thawed or 1 pizza crust dough
• 3/4 lb Italian turkey sausage links, casings removed
• 1/2 c sliced onion
• 1/2 c sliced fresh mushrooms
• 1/2 c chopped green pepper
• 1/2 c pizza sauce
• 8 oz shredded part skim mozzarella cheese
• Cooking spray

Preparation

Step 1

With greased fingers, press dough onto 12 in pizza pan coated with cooking spray. Prick dough thoroughly with a fork. Bake at 400 for 10-12 min until lightly browned. (If using pizza dough, cook as directed on pkg.)

In lg skillet cook sausage, onion, mushrooms & green pepper over med heat 6-8 min until sausage is no longer pink, breaking up sausage into crumbles; drain.

Spread crust with pizza sauce. Top with sausage mixture; sprinkle with cheese. Bake 12-15 min longer until crust is golden brown & cheese is melted.
