Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1.2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 cup almonds, hazelnuts, or pecans, chopped
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, chilled and cut into small pieces

Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugars, salt, and nuts. Add the butter and work it into the dry ingredients with your hands. The mixture should be clumpy, but with the butter pieces mostly incorporated. Distribute the crumble pieces evenly on the baking sheet. Bake for about 20 minutes, tossing and stirring every 6 or 7 minutes to prevent burning, until golden brown and evenly toasted. Remove from the oven and let cool. It can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks.
