Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 medium onions, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 medium green peppers, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 (14.5oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 pounds Johnsiville Ground Sausage
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 (16oz) can chili beans, drained
  • 1 (16oz) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 cup Kemps sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 cup Sargento shredded mild cheddar cheese

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat oil in a 4-quart saucepan over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, green pepper and dried seasonings. Cook 5 minutes; stir often

2. Stir in tomatoes and sausage. Add chicken stock, hot sauce, and beans. Bring to a simmer. Cook 20-25 minutes.

3. SErve topped with sour cream, cilantro and cheese
