Ingredients

  • Frozen puff pastry flaky dough
  • 4-5 Cortland or Mcintosh apples
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbs corn starch
  • confectionary sugar
  • (optional white syrupy glaze)

Preparation

Step 1

cook apples and ingredients through the corn starch until soft and mushy. Cool. Defrost dough.Fill turnovers. Bake 350 until golden. When cooled sprinkle with confec. sugar or drizzle with glaze.
