Clever Cottage Cheese and Cooked Fruit

Cottage cheese comes in many varieties. For babies and young children, choose the higher fat varieties. Cottage cheese has a fair amoung of salt in it, but avoid the low sodium types.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cottage cheese
- 1/2 peach
- 4 strawberries
- 1/4 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
1. Peel peach, remove pit, and cut into pieces.
2. Remove hull and stem from strawberries and cut into quarters.
3. Place strawberries and peaches in microwave safe glass dish. Add wate rand voer loosely with lid or with microwave safe saran wrap.
4. Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Remove cover carefully and stir. If fruit is not soft, re cover and heat until soft, 30 seconds at a time. Let cooked fruit cool to lukewarm.
5. Place cottage cheese in bowl. Pour cooked fruit on top, including juices.
