Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light butter
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 whole egg
  • 2 tbsp fat free milk
  • 3 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium size bowl, cream butter with a hand held mixer until light and fluffy. Slowly add sugar and mix well. Then blend in egg white, whole egg, vanilla, and milk. Blend on medium speed for 2 minutes. Gather dough in your hands and shape into a log, and wrap in saran wrap for about 2-3 hours. Cut dough in half and put the rest in refrigerator. Spoon dough by the tbsp and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400° for about 8 minutes. Place cookies on a cooling rack, and do the same with the other dough in refrigerator. Yields: 6 dozen (72 cookies)
